Empty Hand Self Defense

Course Tuition: $150

Attending students will learn practical and effective defensive techniques that don't require conventional weapons. This is more commonly referred to these days as “Empty-Handed Self-Defense”. Armored Alliance Group's Self Defense Instructor, Frank Durham is a Senior Instructor in the Martial Arts Disciplines of Tong Leong and Chinese Praying Mantis, and has attained a 5th-Degree Black Belt in Self-Defense. Frank enjoys sharing his wealth of knowledge and skills and likes for people to know that, “I didn’t train in Martial Arts for 32 years to be able to impose my will upon others. I did so, as to not allow others to impose their will upon me.”

This Course is for people 16 years of age and older. Minors must be accompanied by an adult or legal guardian. Classes will be held on designated weeknights from 5-7pm and will continue for 4 consecutive weeks at the same time and location in our Training Center at Total Impact Guns & Indoor Range LLC in Nokomis, Florida. Class size is limited to 10 participants.

Among other topics and techniques these will be covered:

- Defensive weapon takeaway skills for handgun, rifle, knife, club, etc.

- Maintaining the proper mindset and confidence to engage when necessary or de-escalate when possible.

- Situational Awareness.

The goal of these classes is to teach you now to avoid becoming a victim of random or targeted violence and crime.
